Summer Training Schedule
JULY GROUP RUNS

DISTANCE (XC) RUNNERS: train a minimum of 6 days a week
Sunday's: meet at Connetquot Path - on Vets Hwy - For a LONG PROGRESSIVE RUN
Tuesday's: Meet at Sunken Meadow for a Hilly steady state run
Thursday's: Meet at the Sayville Running Co for group runs until 8/4 - then Babylon for 400/800 workout
On Your Own training for your other 4-days
MID-DISTANCE RUNNERS: train a minimum of 4 days a week
Tuesday's: at Sunken Meadow
Thursday's: at The Sayville Running Co
on your own training for the other days
SPEED RUNNERS: train a minimum of 3 days a week
Tuesday's: at Sunken Meadow for a hilly 3 mile run - then hill repeats

Sunday June 26:
The first group run has happend. Please Remember, SUNDAY IS THE KEY RUN FOR SUCCESS IN XC. At Sunday #1: 6/26

Friday June 24:
I hope you all did well on all of your exams. All XC runners, except for Ferg, should have started their summer training. Our First Goup Run is this Sunday for XC Runners ONLY. We will run a minimum of 5 miles in the trails of Connetquot State Park. The runs start at 8am and you should be dropped off just south of Connetquot ave on the south side of Vets Hwy. Have bug spray and water with you. Have your rides pick you up at 9 - or they can go for a run/walk in the trails too.
