How to run the VCP 2.5 mile:
Start: 100m 200m quick for positioning relax next 200 into the woods
re-accelerate your legs on the first downhill by leaning forward and letting
the legs go. Now do an 800-Repeat to
the bridge. Once you have done this
YOUR RACE HAS STARTED. At the Bridge
(3/4 mile in) you re-start your race. At
the top of that first hill, do another 800-repeat. The next 1.25 miles IS THE RACE. You MUST run the down hills by leaning
forward and letting your legs go.
